Thomas David Merrell Jr.

David was born in Denver Colorado to Thomas and Violet Merrell

He is survived by his sister Kay Cave of Denver, his niece Cassandra

Kelsay and her husband, Shane and grand nieces, Madison and McKenzie

Kelsay and longtime friend Audrey Zarba of Columbia Maryland.

David attended the University of Colorado where he graduated with a degree

 in nuclear physics. After graduation he moved to the east coast.

In high school David set a state record in freestyle swimming and he loved to ski

and play tennis and of course fishing. Then in later years listening to baseball and

football on the radio .Although we lived many miles apart we were close and

his presence was always felt.

He will be greatly missed by all
