Stella Lee Bragg (Pauley) passed away peacefully on December 25, 2022 at Lorien Assisted Living Facility
in Bel Air, MD. Stella was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She is survived
by her children; Suzanne Ligon (Patton), Jeffrey Bragg (Kathryn), Sherri Loveland (Gary); sisters Rose
Grobbel, Mary Hayes, Cheryl Lewis; grandchildren, Morgan Loveland, Tyler Ligon; and great
grandchildren Caleb Ligon, Colby Ligon, Parker Ligon and Tanner Ligon.
Stella was born and raised in Ansted, WV on June 7, 1939 to James Frank Pauley and Inez Rule Pauley.
She worked as an assistant in real estate and mortgage banking until she retired in 2002. She loved her
family, gardening, and the ocean.
A memorial service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3702 Loren Dr, Fredericksburg, VA on
Monday, March 20, 2023 at 12 PM.
