Shirley Fay Allen

On December 21, 2020, Shirley Fay Allen (nee Delcher), dear daughter of the late Randolph William and Harriett Elizabeth Delcher; beloved mother of John Tefke, Teresa Herbert and her husband Tim; loving grandmother of Tina Herbert Kropp and her husbandMatt, Erin Herbert Jackson and her husband Patrick; cherished GG to Evan, Caroline, Owen, Elizabeth and Elena; beloved sister of Mary Dibastiani, Margaret Duvall, and Eva Nechay. Preceded in death by siblings Charles, Randolph, Ted, Doris and grandson Timothy Craig. Shirley had a successful career with ADP as a senior control clerk retiring after 25 years of service in 2007. Originally from Baltimore, Shirley also lived for a short time in Florida and Arizona before returning back home to Maryland to be near family and friends. In addition to Bingo and casinos, she loved “her Ravens “and watching Golf on TV, a hobby she inherited from her brother Charlie! Shirley was also an avid reader and was never far from her Kindle. But what she enjoyed most was spending time with those she loved. She was a great force in our family and will be in our hearts and memories forever!
