On December 12, 2023, Rose E. Caldwell of Catonsville, MD passed away peacefully at her residence in Brightview Rolling Hills, after several months of deteriorating health. She was 96. She is survived by her youngest sister Dorothy Heacox of Derry, Pa and Rose’s son Tim, his wife Nancy and 5 grandchildren. Her husband of 65 years, James F. (Jim), predeceased her in 2017 and her oldest son James S (Jim) predeceased her in 2021.

Rose was from a family of 13 children (Rose being the 3rd youngest). She worked at Westinghouse Electric Company in Linthicum until she left her position to raise her family. An avid gardener, Rose had a green thumb, cultivated a wide variety of greenery and was active with the Bent Twig Garden Club. She was an active member of Catonsville United Methodist Church. She also was a talented seamstress. Rose enjoyed watching her sons play baseball along with attending O’s games with her family. She and her husband reveled in playing golf and going to the theatre. Rose was very interested in people and enjoyed travelling abroad along with riverboat cruises down the Mississippi River.
