Richard Paul Powell

Richard Paul Powell, age 85, passed from this life on Friday March 31, 2023. He was

born on March 25, 1938, in Buffalo NY to Paul Powell and Katherine Zimmer. He was

the oldest of three children including two younger sisters, Barbara Brown (nee

Powell) and Deborah Larwood as well as step siblings Alan “Bud” Larwood and Judy

Hegg (nee Larwood). On March 22, 1975, he married his beloved wife Marjorie Anne

Tritto, and they celebrated 48 years of marriage.

Richard attended the University of Buffalo and worked for DoAll Industrial Supply

Company as a District Sales Manager and Sales Engineer for over 45 years. Prior to his

time with DoAll, Richard served in the National Guard. He was a member of the

American Legion.

Richard enjoyed new experiences. He took pride in being active and leading a healthy

lifestyle. He enjoyed building things, had a love for food, and an even deeper love for

people whether he knew you for 50 years or 15 minutes.

Richard leaves behind his wife Marjorie Powell, daughter Heather Pellegrini and

husband John, son Paul Powell and sister Deborah Larwood in addition to other much

loved family members and friends.
