Michael Alan Hutsell

Michael Alan Hutsell passed away at his home in Aberdeen, Maryland on May 28th 2022 at the age of 56. The last two years of his life he fought a courageous battle against lung cancer. Throughout many challenges he remained positive and was always willing to help family, friends and neighbors whenever he was able. After serving his country in the U.S. Navy during, he continued to sail the world as a member of the Merchant Marines. After his sailing days came to an end, he cruised the country in his tractor trailer for several years and eventually became a crane operator. Mike had a gifted pair of hands that he used to fix just about anything or to play one of his many guitars. It was the simpler things in life that he truly enjoyed whether it was watching an old western on TV or taking one of his motorcyles for a long ride in the country. Michael is survived by his two brothers, Max Hutsell II and his wife Courtney, of Millsboro, DE, David Hutsell and his wife Patricia, and his only niece Madeleine Hutsell of Lutherville, MD. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. A memorial service will be held on Sunday June 12th at 2:00 PM at Towson United Methodist Church at 501 Hampton Lane, Towson, MD 21286. On Monday June 13th at 10:45 AM, Michael will be interred at Garrison Forest Veteran’s Cemetery located at 11501 Garrison Forest Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117.
