Margaret (Peggy) Louise Gunn

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret Louise Gunn on April 3, 2025, at the age of 84. Margaret was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on October 13, 1940, to the late Joseph H. Graves and the late Evelyn F. Graves (nee Bradley). She spent her early years in the area before building a life surrounded by family and friends.

Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Charles E. Gunn and the cherished mother of Charles J. Gunn, Virginia E. Meyers, John S. Gunn, and Brian K. Gunn. She was also the proud grandmother of six grandchildren and the loving great-grandmother of three great-grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Margaret was known for her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family. She had a deep love for reading, often losing herself in a good book. Margaret also enjoyed playing bingo, and many will fondly remember her enthusiasm during a game. She had a talent for needlepoint and crocheting, and her beautiful creations will forever remind us of her creativity and patience.

Margaret’s legacy is one of love and devotion to her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, always offering a listening ear, sage advice, and unwavering support. Her generosity, sense of humor, and caring spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Margaret’s life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to Margaret’s heart.

Margaret’s love, light, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
