She was surrounded by her cherished loved ones, who provided comfort and support throughout her journey.

Katie was born on December 26th, 1985, in Essex, Maryland, to her devoted mother, Denise, and the late Robert Hamblin and was the loving sister of Karen and Bradley. From an early age, Katie's vibrant spirit and zest for life were evident to all who knew her. She possessed an unwavering strength and determination that would guide her through life's challenges.

As a mother, Katie's greatest joy was her son, Jacob, who brought immeasurable happiness and purpose to her life. She embraced motherhood with boundless love, nurturing Jacob's growth and encouraging his dreams. Katie's legacy lives on in the values and lessons she instilled in her beloved son.

Katie's capacity for deep and lasting friendships was remarkable. She touched the lives of many, and her loyal and caring nature attracted a close-knit circle of friends who became her extended family. Among them were Rachel, Shoba, Julie, and Amanda, who remained steadfast by her side during her battle with cancer. Their unwavering support and unwavering friendship provided immeasurable comfort and strength to Katie throughout her journey.

In addition to her immediate family and closest friends, Katie is survived by her devoted boyfriend, Nando, whose love and compassion brought light to her darkest days. A memorial service to celebrate Katie's life will be held on Monday July 31st, 2023 at Chase Christian Fellowship Church of God located at 12909 Eastern Ave, Middle River, MD 21220.Viewing will be held from 6:00pm until 7:00pm with a service at that time. Arrangements are entrusted to the MacNabb Funeral Home, P.A.
