Karl Andrew Knutsen

Karl Andrew Knutsen, 70, Reisterstown, Maryland, passed away on June 28th, 2021 after a recent illness. He is survived by his son Matthew Knutsen, mother Shirley Knutsen, brother Jeffrey Knutsen, grandson Tyler Knutsen, and many loving friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his wife Barbara Burke Knutsen and his eldest son Karl Knutsen, Jr. Karl was a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Engineering and president of the Knutsen Engineering Group. He was a strong supporter of youth baseball and for several years served as president of the Pikesville Little League. His favorite hobbies included supporting our local sports teams and crabbing on the Chesapeake Bay. Karl will be forever loved in our hearts and deeply missed. A private memorial is being scheduled later in July by his son Matthew Knutsen. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name are encouraged to the Baltimore Humane Society, House of Ruth Maryland, or any local charity.
