Julie Ann Blew, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on April 3, 1970, mother of two, passed away in an auto accident in Mechanicsville, Maryland, at the age of 49 on November 14, 2019. Julie was a gifted student of dance and loved to perform throughout her youth, as remembered by her brother in attending dance recitals and state dance conventions. Julie attended West Grove elementary and Center Grove middle in Greenwood, Indiana. She graduated from Shamong High School in southern New Jersey in 1988. She was married to Greg Blew from 1999-2015, relocated to southern Maryland, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Strayer University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting in 2001. Julie previously worked for the Department of the Navy and Department of the Air Force as a Contracting Officer in Patuxent River, Maryland. Julie's great love in life was her two daughters Gabrielle and Gracie who she had with her former husband, Greg Blew. The family primarily resided in Southern Maryland but also spent several years in Yokosuka, Japan. Julie made many friends in both places. Julie was preceded in death by her mother Marilyn Dennis, and her grandmother Jackie (Effie Mae) Jackson. She is survived by her father Bobby Gene Windmiller, brother Christopher Warren Jackson, daughters Gabrielle Joan Blew, Jacqueline Gracie Blew, former husband Greg Blew, stepfather Randall Wilson Dennis, stepbrother Clarke Dennis, and stepsister Angie Stahl. Along with her immediate family, Julie has aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends located in Indiana, Maryland, and other countries. Julie will be cremated, and her final resting place will be Sarasota, Florida, where she shared the love of the sun and beaches with her family and friends. Family and friends located in various geographic locations are encouraged to gather and light Chinese lanterns in her memory.
