On November 13, 2021 Joanne Celeste Wintermute Stershic Jesilionis went to her eternal home after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Joanne was a loving wife to Charles Jesilionis, mother to Marianna Stershic, Beth Stershic Forde, Robert Paul Stershic, Jr. (Renee) and Jane Stershic Roosa. Joanne was Grandmother to 9 wonderful grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Joanne grew up in Arbutus and after marrying her late husband Robert Paul Stershic, Sr., they moved to Elliott City where they raised their children. After the passing of her husband, Bob, in 1985; she re-married in 1988 to Charles Jesilionis. In 2005 they relocated to Easton where they lived a very happy, active life and in 2018 moved to Charlestown, which took her back to her roots in the Arbutus/Catonsville area. Joanne was loving & caring and will be missed by her many friends and family. A funeral mass will be held on Friday December 3, 2021 at 11:00 at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel at Charlestown Senior Living Community (711 Maiden Choice Lane Catonsville, MD 21228) with family receiving visitors at 10:30.
