Holly Marie Gordon-Ring

Holly Marie Gordon Ring passed suddenly and unexpectedly from us on Saturday November 2, 2024 at 7:48am of heart complications. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 7, 1965, she is survived by her son Devon Gordon, daughter Sabrina Gordon, grand daughter Destiny Ryer, step father Joe Laumann, sister Rebecca Ring and spouse Ransom Cooke, sister Hope and spouse Brandt Wickers, sister Sheila Gartelman, niece Jada Zimmerman, nephew Joshua Ring with spouse Sara Ring and their four children, and dear friend Dr. Sujata Ives. Holly was predeceased by her mother Charlotte Marie Laumann in 2012, and husband David Michael Gordon in 1996.

 Holly achieved her goal of Human Services Counselor AAS Summa Cum Laude in 2019 at CCBC and began her highly influential work at Medmark in 2022. Medmark has since commemorated her work by creating the Holly Gordon Ring Resource Room in her honor.

Holly resided with her sister Rebecca Ring and husband Ransom Cooke since 2016 and their move to Hampstead Maryland reinvigorated her love for nature and the outdoors. Holly built chicken coops, planted gardens and trees, rode ATV’s through the woods, but mostly appreciated and loved being in the beauty of nature. She was quick to care, and eager to bless.

 Holly’s candle shone so brightly; her impact, both professional and personal, was profound and moving. She will be remembered for her tireless energy, her unflagging desire to help all around her, and her keen and ever-curious intellect. Her ability to see beauty and blessings where others would miss was her most envious trait.
