Everett Herbert Marschman

Everett H. Marschman, born February 21, 1934 in New York City, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 27, 2025 in Fulton, MD. He was 90 years old.

 Everett spent the majority of his life in New York, where he built a distinguished career in pharmacy. He began as a retail pharmacist, dedicating 15 years to serving his community. Later, he pursued a master’s degree in pharmacy manufacturing and joined Boehringer Ingelheim in Ridgefield, CT. Everett worked there for much of his professional life, contributing significantly to the field. 

Everett was the son of the late Everett and Anne Marschman. He shared 58 beautiful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Karin Marschman with whom he traveled frequently abroad, enjoyed the opera, symphony, theater and evenings out with friends. He also had a lifelong passion for aviation, finance and politics. Those who knew Everett likely had the pleasure to experience his devilish and playful sense of humor as often as his arch skepticism.Everett is survived by his beloved wife, Karin; his children, Everett K. Marschman (and Denise Marschman), Kristin Jacob (and Frederic Jacob) and Gwyn Marschman (and Thomas Reizes); his sister, Barbara Diehl; and his cherished grandchildren: Alex Marschman, Lucas Jacob, Matthieu Jacob, and Henry Reizes.

 A memorial service will be held on March 1, 2025 at 4 pm at Arbor Terrace Fulton, located at 11584 Scaggsville Rd, Fulton, MD 20759. Donations in Everett’s name to support the promotion of financial literacy education can be made to:  Junior Achievement
