Eunice Y Williams

May 11, 1969 — February 8, 2020

EUNICE YVONNE WILLIAMS, 50, of Baltimore, MD. departed this life on Saturday February 8, 2020 after a serious illness. Eunice was born on May 11, 1969 in Newark, NJ to the late Marguerite Salters and Charles Williams, Sr. After the sudden death of her mother when she was just six months old, Eunice and her four siblings moved to Massachusetts. She was raised by her aunt and uncle - Lillie and Sylvester Davis, Jr. - whom she regarded as her parents. Eunice was educated in the Boston Public Schools system and graduated (as a senior year honor roll student) from Hyde Park High School in 1988. Shortly thereafter, Eunice completed Barbering School on Cape Cod, MA. She became a Master Barber who showcased her hair cutting talents at Perfect Images Barber Shop in Baltimore, MD for 13 years under the tutelage of the owner, Mr. Harry. Eunice was also an accomplished percussionist who played at a few local Boston churches, particularly Morning Star Baptist Church in Mattapan, MA. As a child, Eunice absolutely loved spending time with her big brother, sisters, cousins and all of the many family members who gathered together nearly every weekend to share meals, laughter, card games and dancing to the latest music. She was perhaps the biggest fan of singer Stephanie Mills and enjoyed all of her hit songs. In fact, her first ever concert was headlined by Stephanie Mills and Frankie Beverly & Maze. Throughout the years, she developed a love for "House Music" and was also an avid sports fan. The New England Patriots were her favorite team. Eunice possessed a carefree attitude and was a free-spirited person who was affectionately known by several nicknames including "Bay", "Giovanni", "Brooklyn", "E-Bay", and her middle name Yvonne. In recent years, she faced a few health challenges but did not allow anything to limit her happiness and ability to help others. Eunice was preceded in death by her mother, Marguerite Salters and her 'father' who raised her, Sylvester Davis, Jr. She is survived by her 'Mother' Lillie R. Davis of Bainbridge GA; three sisters Angela Salters of Henrico VA, Awanda Salters of Hopewell VA and Sharon Salters Sykes (Alonzo) of Chester VA; one brother Charles Williams, Jr., of Midlothian VA; one niece, Tiara Salters-Thompson (Dashan, Sr.); two nephews, Brandon Salters and Deric Salters: one aunt, Annie L. Jackson (Willie) of Bainbridge GA; three uncles John D. Dixon of Raymond NH, Phillip L. Dixon (Pauline) of Randolph MA, Willie J. Dixon (Lisa) of West Yarmouth MA, and Charles Davis of Macon GA and a large extended family of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. Eunice also leaves behind her devoted best friend, Robert Owens of Baltimore MD. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020, 1:00pm at the New Harvest Outreach Ministries, 411 Donaldson Street, Bainbridge, GA 39819. A second memorial will be held in Chester, VA on Saturday April 11, 2020.
