Edward G. Schmitt II, 64, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2023. Eddie, as family and friends knew him, was born on June 13, 1959, in Catonsville, MD. He was the son of Edward G. Schmitt and the late Dorothy Schmitt. Eddie graduated from Catonsville Senior High School in 1977. In addition to his father, Eddie is survived by his brother John and his wife Christa, and his sister Julie, as well as his partner of 34 years, Paula Elms. Eddie was also the uncle to Casey, Justin and Mandy Schmitt.
Eddie worked in a variety of fields and was known for being a very hard worker. He enjoyed being outdoors and especially loved hunting and fishing. His other passion was knife making, which he really enjoyed. Eddie was quick to help family and friends with yard work, car repairs, tree removal, and any other outdoor tasks that needed to be done.
Eddie will be missed by all who knew him.
