Donna Donavin Miller

On May 13, 2020, Donna Donavin Miller of Catonsville, MD passed away peacefully of natural causes. She was born in Baltimore, MD on September 11, 1951. Donna is survived by her husband of 39 years, Bill Miller; her loving daughter Kelly Bartels (Joshua) of Catonsville. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Nicole Dashiells. In addition to her immediate family she leaves behind her loving siblings, Nancy Taylor and Richard Donavin, both of Catonsville; adoring grandsons, Jordan and Devin Bartels; nephews and niece, Chris Taylor and Jonathan Taylor of Catonsville, MD , Justin Miller of Ambridge, PA; and Laura Lyman of Phoenix, AZ; she was the dear daughter in law to Tina Miller of Aliquippa, PA and sister in law to Jim Miller and Dena Miller, of Ambridge, PA; Also survived by many other great nieces and great nephews in Maryland. Donna graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1969 and worked at the Social Security Administration until attending George Washington University. She graduated with a certiifed Landscape Designer Degree and worked for Garlands Gardens in Catonsville and Metzlers Landscaping in Columbia, MD. Her hobbies included photography, gardening, cooking and especially socializing with friends. Donna was also interested in reading, painting, animal behavior and was involved with numerous charities and church activities. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Apostles in Arbutus, Maryland, which she was a member for over 18 years. Donna will be missed by many. In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to St. Judes.
