David Fielding Fidler

David F. Fidler of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on May 2, 2023, at St Joseph Medical Center. Born in Baltimore, David was the son of the late John Fielding Fidler and Phyllis Graham Fidler. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Stephen F. Fidler. David is survived by his sister-in-law, Heidi M. Fidler and numerous cousins.

David attended St. Paul's School and later earned a bachelor of arts degree from the College of William and Mary. He went on to work as a Public Information Specialist for the Baltimore County Department of Public Works where he was employed for over 40 years.

David enjoyed traveling, bicycling, kayaking, and sailing in his free time. He was an avid reader, played the piano, and was fluent in French and Italian. His friends enjoyed his quick wit and sardonic sense of humor and will miss the amusement he added to any social gathering.

A memorial service will be held at St. David's Church, 4700 Roland Avenue, on May 26th at 11:00 a.m . A reception will be held in the church hall following the service. A donation may be made in David's memory to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
