Bruce Abramson, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 11th, 2022 at the age of 81, after a valiant 12 year fight with cancer. His absence is felt in all of our hearts, but he would want all that knew him to remember him with a smile.
Bruce is survived by his amazing wife, Arlene Small; son Robert S. Abramson; brother Joe Blumberg; cousin Maxine Hartman; Arlene's loving family: Ryan and Maddie Small, Ingrid and John O'Connor, Lenora and Jeffrey Merkey; and known as "Uncle Bruce" to Alex Small, Megan O'Connor, Mallory and Max Merkey. Bruce is also survived by many friends and hundreds whose lives he touched in the rooms. Bruce was predeceased by his son, Mitchell Abramson; and parents, Frances and Robert E. Abramson.
A celebration of Bruce's life is being planned for January. In lieu of flowers, the family may suggest memorial contributions be made to Gilchrist Hospice, 11311 McCormick Road., Ste. 350, Hunt Valley MD 21031 or online. Condolences may be sent to 7220 Brookfalls Terrace, Baltimore, MD 21209.
