Brixton Henfield passed away on April 5, 2020 at Johns Hopkins Children’s Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland after a three year battle with Rhabdomyosarcoma. Her mother, aunt, and nurses and doctors were at her side. Brixton loved everything about life, living it to its fullest in spite of many hospital stays and doctors’ appointments. She showed great strength throughout her ordeal; her bravery awing everyone. She loved drawing and painting and the color pink, surrounding herself by everything pink. She favored magical animals, mermaids, and the Disney Princesses, especially Princess Aurora. She loved flowers and butterflies and being in nature: riding her scooter, playing with friends, and swimming at the beach. She relished the joy of celebrating Christmas and her birthday. She rallied for the Baltimore Os and Ravens and their Cheerleaders. She is survived by her mother, Laura Johnston-Keisling; her father, Ramon Henfield; her sister, Lucaya Henfield; her aunt and uncles, Bonnie, Kris, and Jeff Johnston-Keisling; her grandparents, Elizabeth Johnston and Robert Keisling; and her father’s family in the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos. She will be missed by so many friends and family who cherished her. We are forever grateful to the Oncology doctors and nurses at Johns Hopkins and the University of Maryland Hospitals who provided her with excellent care.
