Barbara Ann (Dungan) Cary, age 86, passed away on November 2, 2024. Born on January 15, 1938. She is survived by her spouse William “Pat” Cary of 63 years, daughters Theresa Harris and Laura Kemp, Son-in-Laws John Harris and Brian Kemp, grandchildren Kathleen Skinner and her husband Joe Skinner, Grant Harris, Austin Kemp and his wife Steph Kemp and Gavin Kemp. Great grandchildren, Micah, Caleb and Johnnie Rose (due date December 21st). Barbara is survived by her brothers Edmund “Buddy” Yesko and Baxter “Biff” Dungan, sister-in-laws Ruth Yesko, June Yesko, and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Edmund and Veronica Yesko, siblings Jean Lay, William Yesko, Mary Lou Seitz, Frederick Yesko, and Valerie Yesko.

Barbara was the 6th child born in Freeland, PA. At age 2, she and her younger brother Biff were adopted by their aunt and were raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She attended the University of Miami as well as modeled professionally. In her early twenties, she moved back to Maryland where she met and married Pat Cary. They lived in Arbutus, MD for several years prior to building their beautiful home in Ellicott City, MD where they raised their family for 48 years. In 2017, they moved to Charlestown Retirement Community. Barbara loved her family, friends, gardening, interior design, travel, and the Lord.

1:00 pm funeral

Internment at a later date.

Bello Machre cares for people with developmental disabilities. They cared for Val for many years.
